Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 28 September 2025
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all trips, retreats, and events (“Trips”) organised by Out of Office Adventures Ltd., trading as Out Out Club, a company registered in Ireland (company number 771793) (“we”, “us”, “our”). By booking a Trip, you (“you”, “participant”, “customer”) agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Definitions
“Trip” means any travel, retreat, event, or experience organised by us.
“Operator” means a local supplier, guide, accommodation provider, or third-party service provider engaged by us to deliver part of the Trip.
“Participant” / “Customer” / “You” means the person who makes the booking and anyone else listed on the booking.
2. Booking & Payments
Bookings are confirmed only when we receive your deposit or full payment.
Deposits are strictly non-refundable.
Balances must be paid by the due date specified at booking. Failure to pay on time may result in cancellation of your place without refund.
All prices are in euros (€) unless otherwise stated.
3. What’s Included / Excluded
Trip inclusions (e.g. accommodation, activities, meals if specified) will be detailed in the trip description.
Exclusions typically include flights, visas, insurance, personal expenses, optional activities, and meals not stated.
We reserve the right to correct any pricing or inclusion errors before or after you book.
4. Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellations by You
Deposits are non-refundable.
Refunds on the remaining balance are available as follows:
More than 90 days before departure: 75% refund of balance.
60–89 days before departure: 50% refund of balance.
30–59 days before departure: 25% refund of balance.
Less than 30 days before departure: no refund.
No refunds are made once the Trip has started.
Cancellations by Us
We may cancel a Trip due to low numbers, safety concerns, or other unavoidable reasons.
If we cancel, you will be offered a choice of:
a full refund of all amounts you have paid to us, or
a transfer to another Trip or a credit for future use.
We are not liable for additional costs you may incur such as flights, visas, or insurance.
5. Subcontracted Operators
Trips are delivered with the assistance of independent local operators.
While we exercise due care in selecting them, we are not liable for their acts or omissions beyond what Irish law requires.
Your contract is with us, not directly with the operator.
6. Travel Insurance
Comprehensive travel insurance (including medical cover, trip cancellation, and repatriation) is mandatory.
Proof of insurance may be required before departure.
We accept no liability for costs you incur that could have been covered by insurance.
7. Health, Fitness & Conduct
You are responsible for ensuring you are physically and mentally fit for the activities.
You must disclose relevant medical conditions before booking.
We reserve the right to refuse participation if you pose a risk to yourself or others.
Participants must respect local laws, customs, fellow travellers, and operators. Disruptive behaviour may result in removal without refund.
8. Liability
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any matter that cannot be excluded under Irish law.
To the fullest extent permitted, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Trip.
We are not liable for:
loss of personal belongings,
delays, cancellations, or changes caused by airlines or transport providers,
injuries, illness, or accidents occurring during activities provided by third-party operators, unless due to our negligence.
9. Itinerary Changes
Itineraries are subject to change due to weather, safety, local conditions, or operator decisions.
Minor changes do not entitle you to refunds.
In the case of major changes, we will offer alternatives where possible.
10. Force Majeure
We are not liable for failure to perform our obligations where prevented by events beyond our control, including natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, war, or government restrictions. In such cases, we may offer credits or rescheduled dates but are not obliged to refund.
11. Complaints
If you have an issue during the Trip, notify us or the operator immediately so it can be resolved.
Formal complaints must be submitted in writing within 14 days of the Trip’s end.
12. Data Protection
We collect and process your personal data in accordance with GDPR and our Privacy Policy.
13. Marketing & Media
We may capture photos and videos during Trips for marketing purposes.
By joining, you grant us permission to use such media unless you notify us in writing before the Trip.
14. Consumer Rights
Under EU and Irish law, bookings for package travel are exempt from the standard 14-day cooling-off period.
Once confirmed, bookings are subject only to the cancellation and refund terms above.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
16. Severability
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain valid.
17. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with any booking confirmation, represent the entire agreement between you and us.
